Perspective

The Basics

I believe all children have the right to equitable opportunities to do their best and grow to their potential.

I believe a community should encourage and support this growth, both financially and emotionally.

The best way to do that is through supporting public education.

The Core Question

Staying focused on student achievement is a balancing act, so every topic should feed into the core question:

How will this help our students do their best work to prepare for life after GCSD?

A community should support our students, financially and emotionally.

Supporting our Students

I encourage the Greenburgh community to recognize that all of our children deserve the programs that will help them become confident, capable, and caring citizens who can effectively communicate to achieve their personal goals

We should help each student become prepared to handle life’s challenges.  There is not a one-size-fits-all pathway for students.  Each should have the skills necessary to successfully enter college or a work program or a trade and to do well once in that position.

I believe in helping where and when you can.

For each of us, this evolves over time as personal responsibilities and obligations change.  Each of us has something to contribute to our school district, but each of us does not have the time.

I am willing to volunteer my time for those that cannot.

I am willing to help the students of Greenburgh Central School District.
